New album
We've been recording our new album at the Avalanche studio with our good friend Willie Berrevoets. Between drinking and smoking we've been able to record 7 new tracks for our upcomming album. We're still busy mixing the whole thing and we hope to release it before the end of this year. Also we've got some cool gigs comming up. The first on 21 August on the beach of Domburg @ strandtent Noordduine. Desert blues all the way! If you feel more for outer space, W2 Den Bosch is the place to be. We'll be supporting our great heroes of the Hawklords. Have a nice summer!

We are very pleased to confirm our gig with the mighty Hawklords, 15 September in W2 Den Bosch. The Hawklords consist of former Hawkwind members including Nik Turner, Allan Davey & Ron Tree. It is really an honour to open up for one of our biggest influences and we look forward to the show. We are certainly born to go!

After internal consultation Capital Sentimental have decided that the band continues without guitarist Jimi Keerssemeeckers. This was not a sudden discision, but the consequence of a long-term process. Of coarse they all stay friend and live happily ever after....
Effenaar w/ Sleepy Sun
New gig confirmed in De Effenaar, Eindhoven supporting canadian psychedelic group Sleepy Sun! Gig wil take place on Sunday 14 November. We will also participate in Pop aan Zee which is a local zeeland kinda thing which will earn us lots of cool gigs and workshops from people in te bizz.
Rene on tour with Tweakbird
It was said here before, but Rene our saxophone brother is going on tour with the pschycedelic US rock band Tweak Bird. Capital Sentimental and Tweak Bird did some shows together last year, and the bands had instant chemistry. Rene joined them 2 times onstage, and from one thing came another .
Tweak Bird has just released their new self titled album and it's very loud and expirimental. According to the TWEAK BIRD bros, Capital Sentimental is ‘the best fitting support act at the moment’. Tweak Bird will play in some very nice venues all over Europe, among others The Forum in London, AB in Brussels and Paradiso in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam gig is 6 October in Support of Black Mountain. you should come to check it out, 'cuz it's gonna ROCK!!!! I'll definitly will be there. See the Tweak Bird bros website for more tourdates
Some new Shows comming up. The first one is with Tweakbird in De Spot as try out for the european tour. On this tour Rene our saxophone player wil be joining them onstage. Next one is with the legendary Dutch prog rock band Focus in De piek in Vlissingen. Focus is known from the hits Hocus Pocus, House of the KIng and Sylvia. Be sure to check it out!
Special gig
Hi Stoners. It´s been a while since the last update, but we have some cool things comming up! First of all, next Saturday we wil play at Kreekrock Mini and onstage we wil be joined by Koen from The Massachrista for some heavy ass trippin´ Mumbojumbo!. News update
We don't have much news to tell you right now except that we are very busy writing new material for an upcoming cd release. The release is scheduled for the end of this year or the begin of 2011.

Roadburn Afterburner
We are pleased to say that we've been asked to play on the Roadburn Afterburner on the 18th of April. Roadburn is one of the leading alternative/stoner festivals in Europe and it will take place in 013, Tilburg. More info on the gig page.

20th of February we have a gig in Elektra, Sliedrecht with Sungrazer & 3SA and on the 6th of February we are supporting for Astrosoniq in 't Beest, Goes. Also, don't forget our CD release party @ De Spot, Middelburg on 27th of November. Afterparty with Tweakbird(US). The CD will we available at X Ray in Vlissingen & Goes and at De Spin, Middelburg.
